The Heldentoren in Knokke-Heist is a striking, modern residential tower designed by Neutelings Riedijk Architects. The project is located on a historic site on the Heldenplein, where the famous Grand Hotel - Casino Kursaal used to stand.
Plug n' Play was commissioned by Grain Design Office, to visualize this ambitious project even before construction began. Creative use was made of shipping containers to give a preview of the final tower. This temporary structure gave passersby an idea of the size and shape of the final building.
Under the container arrangement, visitors could find information about Heist's rich history and cultural development. This temporary exhibit offered a unique experience!
